Product Description:
The GK horizontal scraper discharge centrifuge operates at full speed before the feed valve is opened, allowing the separated suspension to enter the drum via the distribution chamber and be uniformly distributed across the filter medium lining the inner wall of the drum. Under the influence of centrifugal force, the liquid phase is expelled through the perforations in both the filter medium and the drum wall, while the solid phase is retained on the filter medium, forming a filter cake. Once the filter cake reaches a predetermined thickness, the feed valve is closed, and the solid phase is subsequently washed and dried. Finally, the accumulated filter cake is removed by a rotating scraper and discharged from the machine through either a shuttle chute or a screw conveyor.

1) This centrifuge offers a higher production capacity compared to conventional scraper centrifuges, with a lower moisture content in the filter cake.
2) Materials for components in contact with the product and mother liquor can be selected and specified by the customer according to the corrosive nature of the substances involved. Commonly used materials include 0Cr19Ni9, 321, 316L, TA2, C276, and duplex stainless steel.
